Automotive Tire and Wheel Assembly Conveyor System

    Project Description:

    To build a new multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art Tire and Wheel Assembly Conveyor System at an Automotive Plant in Oshawa, Ontario. Limpact Industrial Systems Limited participated as the Electrical Contractor, and the PLC Programmer.

    Scope of Work:

•  Electrical design and drafting for the control panels, motor panels and operator panels

•  Develop all control programs for four ControlLogix PLC’s, and four PanelView32 HMI’s

•  Configure and set-up the communication networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet and DH+)

•  Supervise installation and verify field wiring

•  Commissioning of the whole conveyor system

•  Start-up and 24-hour production support
